What difrentiate us

Our mission is to transform technical departments into a pillar of stability and business development – through modern strategies, data, and people's competencies. We believe that by doing so, we create lasting value not only for the Client but also for society.

Above all, we are guided by our principles:

  • Safety first – everyone who leaves for work in the morning should return in good health, and everyone must be protected.
  • Quality and Client satisfaction – from the very first day of cooperation, we strive for results that bring satisfaction and a real return on investment.
  • Flexibility – open communication and a shared pursuit of success are of utmost importance.
  • Commitment and responsibility – in every project, we seek added value for the Client, for ourselves, and for the society.

It is precisely these principles that make Operivo not a typical consulting firm. We act as if we were working for ourselves – with full focus on safety, reliability, and Client satisfaction.

How do we operate?

Our proven method

We begin every collaboration with an assessment, which is a thorough evaluation of the situation in your technical department. Based on this, we identify key projects, their scope, priorities, necessary resources – both internal and external – and the expected outcomes.

Subsequently, we jointly decide which projects we will implement together and which your team will carry out independently, with our advisory support. This way, you have full control over the direction and pace of change.

At the same time, we conduct dedicated and open training sessions related to our services. This helps to increase knowledge and better utilize the methods and tools we implement.

Our goal is for you to see real value at every stage of the collaboration – from diagnosis, through planning and implementation, to the development of competencies within your organization.

Technical Asset Management

Many managers struggle with the fact that the technical department focuses on firefighting instead of planning, and the maintenance processes are lagging behind changes in the organization and technology. The result is unpredictable costs, downtime, and a sense of lack of control.

At Operivo, we help change that. Our service of Maintenance Optimization and Technical Asset Management processes improvement can be part of a larger transformation (e.g., structural change, system implementation) or a standalone project that sets the direction for further actions.

How do we operate?

  • AS-IS Assessment – We conduct a detailed study, which concludes with a report containing proposals for improvement projects along with the required workload, resources, and implementation time.
  • Alignment with Business Goals – If your goal is, for example, to implement new processes, the analysis and recommendations are appropriately tailored.
  • Client Decisions – Together, we choose which projects are worth implementing, in what order, and who is responsible for them (your team or us as support).

Typical areas of improvement:

  • Processes and safety of technical work execution,
  • Implementation or optimization of preventive maintenance plans,
  • Mapping and streamlining of work management (processes) using IT systems,
  • Technical investment processes.

As a result, your technical department gains predictability, efficiency, and becomes a real support for the development of the entire organization.

Management of Machine Obsolescence

In many industrial plants, machines are older than part of the team, and key components are no longer available on the market. The lack of a modernization plan puts the technical department under constant pressure, and the risk of serious breakdowns or prolonged downtimes increases each year.

The most common problems faced by companies include:

  • unavailability of spare parts and technology,
  • unforeseen and costly downtimes,
  • lack of data on the actual condition of assets,
  • lack of an early warning system for signs of aging,
  • pressure from management to maintain production continuity with rising costs.

At Operivo, we have developed a unique method of managing machine aging, which allows for a transition from reactive problem-solving to conscious and predictable future planning.

How do we operate?

  • Early detection of aging symptoms – we identify symptoms of obsolescence before problem occur (e.g., difficulty in obtaining parts, decreasing manufacturer availability, technical signals).
  • Risk assessment – we determine which infrastructure elements are most susceptible to failures and where the lack of parts poses a critical threat.
  • Life cycle analysis – we assess how long specific devices can safely operate and what actions will extend their lifespan.
  • Upgrades and investment planning – we create an action roadmap: from extending the life cycle, through technical modifications, to planned upgrade investments.
  • Implementation and training – we support your team in implementing strategies and provide training to ensure knowledge remains within the organization.

The result? Machines operate longer, potential risks are detected and controlled at an early stage, and investment decisions become predictable and business-justified.

Implementations of CMMS/EAM systems

Implementing a CMMS/EAM system is one of the biggest challenges for technical departments. Too often, it ends with the system being purchased and launched, but the data is incomplete, reports are useless, and users do not take full advantage of the tool's capabilities. As a result, the investment does not bring the expected business value.

At Operivo, we do not sell systems—we act as an owner’s engineer, a partner to the client who ensures that the implementation is effective, meets expectations, and delivers real results. Our goal is for the system to become a tool that supports decisions and processes, not just another cost.

How do we operate?

  • Process and requirements analysis – we examine how your technical department operates and based on that, prepare a functional specification for the system.
  • Support in selecting the system – we help analyze the market and choose the solution that best fits your needs and budget.
  • Data preparation – we organize and standardize data so that from day one, the system can operate on reliable information.
  • Definition of reports and KPIs – we design reports and indicators that provide a clear picture of the maintenance management at every level of the organization.
  • Test scripts and supervision – we create tests from the client's perspective and oversee the work of the system provider to ensure everything functions according to requirements.
  • Materials and training – we prepare instructions, conduct training sessions, and guide your team through the change process.

The result?

The CMMS/EAM system operates as expected, users are trained and utilize it in practice, the data is reliable, and reports and KPIs genuinely support business decisions.

Technical Coaching and Mentoring

Even the best strategies and systems fail if the people who are supposed to implement them do not feel confident in their roles. In many companies, technical leaders make decisions under pressure, often in an information chaos, which lowers the effectiveness of the entire department. They lack support, practical tools, and experience that would allow them to act calmly and consistently.

At Operivo, we believe that technologies and processes work only when competent people stand behind them. That's why we offer mentoring and coaching programs led by experts with both operational and consulting experience.

How do we operate?

  • Definition of requirements – together we identify which competencies of leaders and teams need strengthening.
  • 1:1 Mentoring – individual support for technical leaders in decision-making and handling critical situations.
  • Team Coaching – working with groups of engineers and technicians on effective collaboration and communication.
  • Practical Training – based on real scenarios so that knowledge is immediately implemented in practice.

The result? Leaders and teams become more autonomous, make better decisions under pressure, and the technical department operates more predicatable and with higher productivity.
